Virgil Abloh was a fashion mafioso in his own right. Having founded and headed Off-White, the man was on a league of his own, a legend and ‘mafioso’. He brought to fashion what Michael Jackson brought to music; quality beyond imagination. He was Kanye West’s creative director and Louis Vuitton’s men’s artistic director since 2018.

His vision for freestyle and streetwear brought a kind of new light to the fashion world showing that more can be achieved if we dream more.
According to a statement released by his family, “He chose to endure his battle privately since his diagnosis in 2019, undergoing numerous challenging treatments, all while helming several significant institutions that span fashion, art, and culture. Through it all, his work ethic, infinite curiosity, and optimism never wavered.” Abloh is survived by his wife and two kids. May his soul Rest in Eternal Peace. May God comfort his family, friends, and fans, and may his memory be a blessing to all of us.
A Genius Disruptor
